The Labour Party (LP) in Nasarawa says it is working towards getting at least two million votes from the state during the presidential election. Alexander Emmanuel, LP chairman in Nasarawa, said this on Saturday when he received new supporters into the party in Karu LGA of the state.  the state party chairman also said over 27,000 persons defected to the Labour Party from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). “These 27,000 decampees from the APC, PDP and APGA have come to declare support for our presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, and other candidates of Labour Party in Nasarawa state because the political parties in authority have failed us in all aspects of the economy,” he was quoted as saying. “Universities have been closed for over seven months now and there is no commitment from the federal government to address the issue. Osun herbalist caught at cemetery with human parts.. A 28-year-old herbalist, Ismail Adewuyi, has been arrested with the head and intestines of an unknown female corpse by men of Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service in Ede, Osun state. Adewuyi, it was learned, had stormed Muslim Cemetery located at Oke Yidi in the early hours of Saturday, armed with assorted charms, exhumed a corpse, cut the head and brought out its intestines. Luck however ran out on him while making his way out of the scene of the crime, as a member of Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service who had suspected Adewuyi’s movement and laid an ambush arrested him.
